Yesterday we had a very enthusiastic group of hikers for our inaugural hike through the Old Forest. As always there were plenty of cool things to check out in the woods--mushrooms, bugs, giant puddles, and even musicians and artists! The kids especially loved the giant puddles and climbing on trees. The adults--well speaking for myself anyway--enjoyed learning about the various plants growing along the trail. It was great to hike through as a group because each person had a unique perspective to share.

We're thinking of hiking through the Northeast corner of the forest where the paw-paws grow on our next hike, April 19th. Stay tuned for details.
